ENVIRONMENT AND QUALITY: COLMAR AND NEUILLY SITES CERTIFIED!
Following several days of auditing at the production site in Colmar (Alsace) and at the head office in Neuilly-sur-Seine (Paris area), Geismar has obtained the renewal of its ISO 9001:2015 certification, while at the same time certifying its production unit in accordance with ISO 14001:2015. A further step in the Group’s drive to improve its environmental performance started with the Geismar Italia production unit obtaining both accreditations.

| Covering all Geismar’s activities, the audit made it possible to examine and ensure the proper compliance of the various internal policies concerning the design, manufacture and sale of equipment, solutions and services for the laying and maintenance of tracks and catenary, as well as its associated services (such as the maintenance of equipment or training in its use). |
A commitment to continuous improvement |
| The aim of renewing ISO 9001:2015 certification was to reaffirm the conformity of the quality management system (QMS) and its ability to ensure compliance with requirements in terms of quality, cost management and the achievement of expected results.
Through structural initiatives such as the introduction of tools for monitoring, maintaining and improving the management system and optimising Supply Chain management, the Group has once again demonstrated its ability to provide services that meet the strictest requirements while remaining fully compliant with the framework provided by the regulatory authorities. All this is done with the ultimate aim of providing services whose quality, cost and implementation are kept under control and in line with the Group’s and its customers’ expectations. |
A more respectful approach to production |
| As a further step towards constantly improving the environmental performance of the Geismar Alsace production unit, the award of ISO 14001:2015 certification has confirmed the Group’s commitment to respecting its environmental management systems. In concrete terms, sorting and proper management of waste, reducing consumption via an Energy Savings plan, managing resources and monitoring preventive maintenance (and the various strategies for maintenance ranges) are just some of the measures aimed at controlling – but above all minimising – the impact on the environment. Acting both upstream and downstream of the production of its products.

| Geismar is proud to continue expressing its environmental and managerial commitments, with two of its production units now certified. Indeed, Geismar Italia was the first to take this step, having obtained these certifications in 2002 (ISO 9001:2015) and 2016 (ISO 14001:2015), which are still in force today.
Obtaining these certifications is the result of much effort on the part of the Colmar and Neuilly teams to constantly improve methods and operational excellence, a strategic objective that the Geismar Group has set as a priority.
